Sylvana Tomaselli parlerà di quello che è indubbiamente un racconto assai dibattuto a partire
da Eva, la tentatrice, alle figure di autorità morale come Mary Wollstonecraft, Simone de Beauvoir e Martha Nussbaum, che hanno cercato di acquisire o ottenuto dai loro lettori, la storia dello status morale della donna e delle donne.
Tomaselli prenderà in esame alcuni momenti di quella che possiamo considerare una narrazione disgiunta ma sostenuta dal ruolo del sentimento politico coevo.

Prof. Sylvana Tomaselli is an Associate Lecturer of the Faculty of History and Faculty of HSPS.
Tomaselli is currently Director of Studies in History and Social & Political Sciences at St John's College in the University of Cambridge. She was elected a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society in 2015.
Tomaselli’s most remarkable publication is Wollstonecraft: Philosophy, Passion, and Politics, Princeton University Press, 2021
