The internship will give the opportunity to have a better understanding and experience of humanitarian Non-Governmental Organizations working in the non-profit sector and to contribute to the implementation of operations in the Programme Department in Italy.

Main Tasks – Logistics and Supply

• Assessment of alternative infrastructure for guest-house and Policlinico based on project needs;
• Carrying out local purchases according to MSF Standards: defining needs and priorities, preparing quotations, selecting and validating suppliers;
• Support in stock management and replenishment orders for the office and clinics;
• Support in improving office and clinic set-up based on patients’ feedback;
• Supporting mitigation strategies based on project risk assessment findings.

Requirements

• Italian language (essential) – at least B1 level in reading, writing and listening;
• English language (desirable).

Internship Details

Start date: 15 March 2026

Duration: 7 months

Working hours: 25 hours per week (between 9:00 and 18:00)

Working days: Monday–Friday (based on organizational and student needs)

Contribution: €500 per month (reimbursement provided by MSF)
