Palermo is one of the most fascinating and culturally diverse cities in the Mediterranean. For over two thousand years, it has been a crossroads of civilizations, where Greek, Roman, Arab, Norman, Spanish and Italian influences have shaped a unique historical and cultural heritage.

Today, Palermo offers international students an inspiring environment in which to study and live. Its historic centre, vibrant cultural scene, museums, archaeological sites, theatres and UNESCO World Heritage monuments provide countless opportunities for learning beyond the classroom.

Students also benefit from a welcoming atmosphere, an active university community and a relatively affordable cost of living compared to many other European cities. Thanks to its strategic location at the centre of the Mediterranean, Palermo represents an ideal gateway for exploring Sicily and experiencing the rich cultural diversity of Southern Europe.

Choosing Palermo means combining academic excellence with an unforgettable international experience in a city where history, culture and contemporary life meet every day.
