Interdisciplinary European Master in Classical Studies Ascolta
The Master's Degree Programme Scienze dell’antichità participates in the European Master in Classical Cultures (EMCC), an international and interdisciplinary Master’s network in Classical Studies involving 14 universities across 10 European countries.
The programme is characterized by its strong international orientation, multidisciplinary approach, and commitment to academic excellence. Students have the opportunity to study at least at two universities in different linguistic contexts: their home institution and one partner university. Upon completion of the required examinations, students receive a double or multiple Master’s degree issued by the participating institutions. The network promotes innovative study plans and joint scientific initiatives, while also emphasizing linguistic diversity as a shared heritage of both the ancient Greco-Roman world and contemporary Europe.
The EMCC also organizes study trips and visits to major European historical sites. Applications close each year on 15 May, and interested students are encouraged to contact the programme coordinator in March. The Degree Programme currently maintains double-degree agreements with the universities of Münster, Freiburg, Hamburg, Toulouse, and Salamanca.
