LM-81 | Cooperation, Development, and Migration
Double Degree with Université de Tunis El Manar Ascolta
The Double Degree programme between the LM-81 Master’s degree in Cooperation, Development, and Migration of the University of Palermo and the Master’s degree in Migration Studies: Governance, Policies, and Cultures of the Université de Tunis El Manar is based on a long-standing relationship with Tunisian universities, fostered through an extensive programme of incoming and outgoing student and faculty mobility
The establishment of the Master was the result of the MIGRANTS CBHE project which represented a further step forward in the internationalization strategy of the LM-81 course. The scope is to guarantee the students the access to topics that are told from a completely different perspective for understanding mobile migratory dynamics migration diversity and multiculturalism for deepening their analysis in gender and migration or even discover the psychological approaches to migrants and society or even the relationship between migration health and biopolitics. The six months in Tunisia will represent a decisive moment in the student’s career by further enriching their academic pathway.
These relationships are supported by ongoing Erasmus+ KA1 funding over the years. Students will benefit from a 6-month mobility while a regular exchange of professors is constantly guaranteed.
