Internship
Dal 16 aprile 2026 sarà attiva a regime la procedura online "Internship Application Form" per studenti e dottorandi provenienti da Atenei esteri che desiderano svolgere un tirocinio presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria.
La proposta di Internship Agreement deve pervenire almeno 30 giorni prima rispetto all’inizio della mobilità.
1. Requisiti di Ammissibilità
Studenti (I e II livello): Iscrizione regolare presso un Ateneo straniero e proposta di internship coerente con il percorso di studi.
Dottorandi (PhD): Iscrizione a un dottorato estero e progetto di ricerca pre-definito nell’Internship Agreement, già approvato dal Tutor dell’Università di origine.
Assicurazione: Per tutti i candidati è obbligatoria la copertura sanitaria e contro gli infortuni prima dell'accesso ai locali dipartimentali.
2. Procedura di Candidatura
Invio Form: Compilazione del modulo online sotto riportato. La richiesta sarà trasmessa automaticamente a internationaloffice.engineering@unipa.it.
Verifica e Assegnazione: L'ufficio verifica la completezza dei dati inseriti e inoltra tramite procedura informatizzata la richiesta al docente indicato (o al Delegato all'Internazionalizzazione in caso di riassegnazione) per l'accettazione del ruolo di Docente Tutor.
Perfezionamento Domanda: Una volta individuato il Tutor, il candidato riceverà una notifica con le istruzioni da seguire per proseguire (scaricare la domanda (PDF), firmarla e inviarla via email all'ufficio insieme a un documento di identità).
Internship Agreement: Il Docente Tutor compilerà l'Internship Agreement per la parte di sua competenza; dopo il parere favorevole del Consiglio di Dipartimento, il documento verrà firmato digitalmente dal Direttore e restituito per l'avvio formale.

From 16 April 2026, the online ‘Internship Application Form’ procedure will be fully operational for students and PhD candidates from foreign universities who wish to undertake an internship at the Department of Engineering.
The proposed Internship Agreement must be received at least 30 days prior to the start of the placement.
1. Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate and Master’s students: Regular enrolment at a foreign university and an internship proposal consistent with the course of study.
PhD students: Enrolment in a foreign PhD programme and a research project defined in the Internship Agreement, already approved by the supervisor at the home university.
Insurance: Health and accident plus civil liability insurance cover is mandatory for all candidates prior to accessing departmental premises.
2. Application Procedure
Submission of Form: Complete the online form below. The application will be automatically forwarded to internationaloffice.engineering@unipa.it.
Verification and Assignment: The office checks that the information provided is complete and forwards the application via an automated system to the designated lecturer (or to the Internationalisation Officer in the event of reassignment) for acceptance of the role of Tutor.
Application Finalisation: Once a Tutor has been identified, the candidate will receive a notification with instructions on how to proceed (download the application form (PDF), sign it and email it to the office along with proof of identity).
Internship Agreement: The Supervising Lecturer will complete the Internship Agreement for the section under their responsibility; following approval by the Departmental Board, the document will be digitally signed by the Director and returned for formal initiation.
