LM-85– PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCES

LM 85 – SCIENZE PEDAGOGICHE

Educational objectives and professional opportunities for graduates

The course provides students with the necessary advanced knowledge and competences to work in the professional field of pedagogical sciences. The course covers disciplines such as Philosophy, History, Psychology and Sociology, and focuses on the creation of learning and evaluation tools, the planning and design of educational programmes as well as research on pedagogical issues.

Upon graduation students may perform analysis of educational programmes and syllabuses or conduct research on their success factors. They can work in schools, in the social context, in educational processes as well as in family environments or contribute as external experts to the activities of public educational institutions.

This course prepares students to become professionals with high-quality organisational and managerial abilities with regard to educational processes. They will be able to design, coordinate and evaluate highly specialised educational programmes.

During the course, students will have the opportunity to make experiments on their own in course-specific educational activities through close observation of the most crucial aspects and issues in the subject area. These activities create a strong link with the labour market.

Graduates in Pedagogical sciences might conduct research or carry out consulting activities in order to plan and manage educational actions, projects and services provided and/or financed by public, private or third sector organisations.

They might also find a job in the vocational training, management, support or control branches in the public administration.
