Master Degree in Sustainable and Resilient Pavement Engineering
The programme aims at developing a new generation of pavement engineers capable of understanding advanced pavement materials and their circularity and sustainability characteristics; designing flexible, rigid, and composite pavements using modern analytical and mechanistic–empirical methods; applying digital tools such as AI, machine learning, BIM, IoT, VR, data analytics, and automated inspection systems; evaluating the resilience of pavement structures under climate stressors and proposing mitigation and adaptation solutions; implementing life cycle assessment (LCA), environmental product declarations (EPD), and circular economy principles. Students will study in at least two countries different from their country of residence. Mobility paths are predetermined for Semester 1 and Semester 2, while Semester 3 and 4 allow for industrial or academic placement among full and associate partners.
