Madonie sostenibili: esperienze e buone pratiche

Abstract

Nowadays sustainability is at the core of the development, of the productive processes, social and environmental. Protected areas are involved in the development of projects that put together environmental protection and enhancement. These protected areas are the ones that started new planning methods dedicated to the territorial development. This paper describes the innovative approach of the management, the pilot projects and the best practices implemented in the territory of the Madonie (Zero Waste strategy, biodiversity protection, living lab). The paper also presents the development new scenarios and new services that can be implemented with the design methods and strategies in the territory of the Madonie.
