Call for Applications PNRR/TNE mobility grants for study at the Università degli Studi di Palermo Academic year 2025- 2026

This mobility opportunity is part of the New SEASON Project (New South-East Asia Strategic and Operative Network), a TNE (Transnational Education) initiative funded under the Italian National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

The New SEASON project proposal aims both to establish new relationships and to consolidate and strengthen existing international partnerships between the Italian and the associated foreign universities in the regions identified. In line with these purposes, the general objective of New SEASON is to share with foreign partners the best educational practices and integrate international academic cooperation of the Italian universities, , following the objectives of the European Union.

To reach this goal, and foster an exchange of knowledge, skills and teaching methods on the topic, the project will set up three main actions:

1) the international mobility of students,

2) of professors and staff, and

3) advanced skills training for capacity building.

Through this mobility program, participants will have the opportunity to engage in high-quality academic experiences, strengthen international partnerships, and contribute to the development of key thematic areas.

Call for applications for international mobility, aimed at granting mobility grants as part of the "WAGON2AFRICA" project (WAter enerGy fOod Nexus 2 Africa), a collaboration agreement signed between the University of Palermo and the WAGON2AFRICA consortium, which formalizes the cooperation between the participating universities to achieve the objectives of the project.

The main objective of the project is the development of a network of Italian and African universities to enhance cooperation and share best practices, with a focus on the Water-Energy-Food Nexus.

Through this mobility programme, participants will have the opportunity to engage in high-quality academic experiences, strengthen international partnerships and contribute to the development of key thematic areas, made explicit within the call.
