If you have earned a Ph.D. abroad and want to participate in a competition for a researcher at the University of Palermo, you will need to apply to the Ministry of University and Research for its recognition. To this end, send the completed pdf application form to dginternazionalizzazione@pec.mur.gov.it (which also receives non-PEC emails).

As indicated in the form, you will need to attach the Hague Convention apostille formalities:

• degree certificate with corresponding certified list of examinations taken
• certificate of doctoral degree
• academic certificate certifying both the institution at which you attended the doctoral course and the mode of attendance of the course of study (full time or part time, online or in presence); if the foreign institution does not issue the certification regarding the in-presence/online course, when you send the application you can authorize the MUR to acquire the information directly from the institution concerned.

Please remember that:

the MUR will first evaluate the requests of applicants and candidates who are already winners in researcher procedures; if this is your case, please also attach the decree of approval of the acts of the procedure in question;
title recognition is usable for all researcher procedures in which you would like to participate.
