Abstract
Scrophularia tenuipes Cosson (1862: 175) (Scrophulariaceae) was originally described from Est Algeria and after collected by Cosson also in West Tunisia. The original material for Scrophularia tenuipes was looked for in the main European and North African herbaria. The specimen MPU020227 is designated as the lectotype of this name.
