Tecnologie avanzate di acquisizione e rappresentazione digitale per la fruizione del patrimonio culturale

Abstract

In the fields of historical Cultural Heritage valorization, the digital revolution, which has already deeply modified our lifestyle, offers new synergies and effective procedures for acquisition, data processing/archiving, diagnosis, study, restoration and communication. The challenge that experts and scholars are taking on is to systematize the potential of new digital technologies to create open sharing platforms that really add value to future generations in terms of knowledge and dissemination of the results of investigations carried out. The paper presents some outcomes of a multidisciplinary research project that deepens the study of recovery and reintegration in the circuit of the fruition of the qanāt “Gesuitico alto” in Palermo.
