Abstract

Ancient rhetoric is generally articulated in political and institutional frameworks and within ideological configurations that are well defined and contextualised; consequently it is linked to its backgrounds and has a history that evolves in relation to general history of societies. Decoding the rhetoric of a society is therefore a further way to understand it.
