Event: Donne nella Scienza | Women in Science
Venerdì 6 febbraio dalle ore 10, in occasione della visita presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria della Prorettrice alla Inclusione, Pari opportunità e Politiche di Genere, Prof.ssa Beatrice Pasciuta, ed in vista della Giornata delle Donne e delle Ragazze nelle Scienze, l'Aula Magna del Dipartimento di Ingegneria (Ed. 7) ospiterà in diretta streaming un seminario tenuto dalla Prof.ssa Zahra Sharif Khodaei, docente di Integrità Strutturale presso il Dipartimento di Aeronautica dell'Imperial College di Londra. Nel seminario condividerà il suo percorso di carriera, le sfide che ha affrontato, le storie di successo e come è diventata la prima professoressa nel Dipartimento di Aeronautica. In seguito, verrà inaugurata una mostra temporanea dedicata alle biografie di donne nella scienza, ospitata nei locali antistanti l'Aula Magna dell'edificio 7 del Dipartimento di Ingegneria. Verrà attribuito 0.5 CFU alle studentesse e agli studenti del CdLM in Electronics Engineering che parteciperanno all'evento.
Friday, February 6th from 10 am, on the occasion of the visit to the Department of Engineering by the Deputy Rector for Inclusion, Equal Opportunities and Gender Policies, Prof. Beatrice Pasciuta, and in view of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, the Main Lecture Hall of the Department of Engineering (Building 7) will host a live streaming seminar given by Prof. Zahra Sharif Khodaei, Professor of Structural Integrity in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London. In the seminar, she will share her career path, the challenges she has faced, her success stories, and how she became the first female professor in the Department of Aeronautics. Following this, a temporary exhibition dedicated to the biographies of women in science will be inaugurated, hosted in the area in front of the Main Lecture Hall of Building 7 of the Department of Engineering.
0.5 ECTS credits will be awarded to female and male students of the Master's Degree in Electronics Engineering who participate in the event.
