Profile |
Wood technologist with expertise in the mechanical characterization of wood for structural uses. I hold a Master’s degree in Forestry Science and Technologies (LM-73) from the University of Palermo, Department of SAAF (Scienze Agrarie Aimentari e Forestali). My thesis, titled “CHARACTERIZATION OF PAULOWNIA WOOD FOR STRUCTURAL USES USING VISUAL METHODS”, focused on the technological and mechanical aspects of Paulownia wood. I am skilled in the use of material testing machines, woodworking, and data analysis in an R environment. My main interests deal with the technological evaluation of wood for structural applications and assessment of wood quality in standing trees using non-destructive analysis. |
