 Profile

Gaia studied at Palermo University (Italy) where in 2012 she graduated with a First Class Bachelor’s degree with high distinction in Psychology and in 2015 obtained a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology.

In 2014 she attended a semester in France at the University Lumierè Lyon 2, (France) and after her graduation she went for an international placement of 1 year to King’s College London in order to improve her research skills and her knowledge about eating disorder psychopathology and new techniques. In 2016 she obtained a position as Research Assistant of a clinical trial focused on outpatients with a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa. Since 2017: Registration on the Italian National Board of Psychologists (registration number: 8117).

In 2017 she was awarded with a 3 years PhD scholarship funded by Palermo University.
