NEW RULES FOR THESIS REQUESTS
Students who wish to request supervision for their Master’s thesis must follow the updated procedure outlined below.
Before contacting the supervisor, you are required to prepare a short, structured, and properly formatted proposal. Supervision is significantly more effective when based on a clear and realistic research project: vague requests (e.g. “I would like to write about international politics”) cannot be evaluated and will not lead to productive meetings.
INITIAL REQUESTS MUST BE SENT BY EMAIL ONLY: A meeting will be scheduled only after the submitted materials have been reviewed. Please use your official university email address and include the following subject line: Subject: Thesis request – Name Surname – Topic
Required Attachments

2. Short Thesis Proposal (approx. 1–2 pages)
The proposal must include:

Short abstract (150–200 words): topic, objectives, and relevance
Preliminary outline (table of contents)
Preliminary bibliography: key academic sources (books and journal articles)

Requests that do not follow these instructions or include incomplete documentation will not be considered.
