The University of Palermo has published the call for admission to the 42nd cycle of its doctoral programmes. The Department of Biological, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies (STEBICEF) hosts two programmes, offering a total of 14 fully-funded positions:

• Molecular and Biomolecular Sciences (6 funded positions);
• Technology and Science for Human Health (8 funded positions)

Successful candidates will join active research groups working across biochemistry, biology, chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences and biotechnology, with access to well-equipped laboratories and participation in national and international research projects.

Deadline for applications: 12 August 2026, 14:59 (CEST).
