Field measurement campaigns and data interpretation

Numerical modelling using the following numerical codes or others realized ad hoc

• PANORMUS model, developed by Prof. Enrico Napoli and co-workers, which can be used in both the Finite Volume and SPH versions, for the 3D analysis of incompressible flows and transport in all the civil, environmental and industrial applications.
• Hydraulic software in GIS environment for 1D and 2D shallow waters problems;
• A fluid dynamic highly parallelized code, CFX (Ansys), used to solve flow field with rotational and stationary domains, with multi-phase flow (such as air-water or air-water-water vapor).
• Numerical code MIKE21 for 2D simulation of coastal circulation.
