The Research Doctorate starting from the XXX cycle reserves scholarships to foreign students, regularly covered (n.1 from Spain, n.1 from Iran).
Internationalization activities have been extensively developed within the International Doctorate Course in Experimental Oncology and Surgery since 2013 (for example, the XXIX cycle presents, at the end of the course, 2 theses in joint tutoring and a double degree with the University of Antwerp and No. 3 Doctor Europaeus). These actions are progressively more and more intense aimign to improve collaborations with research groups not only of the Department in question, but also - thanks to the PhD Course - of other UNIPA Departments with Belgium.
Internationalization activities have also been launched within the CLMOPD (since 2014 a contact person has been appointed (Dr. Olga Di Fede) for the Erasmus + Program, finalizing the approval of 2 agreements with the Universities of Valencia and Munich).
In progress, new agreements with the University of Malta, Temple and Antwerp starting from the academic year 2017-18:
Finally, within the CLMOPD framework, incoming visiting students (No. 2 in traineeship) were carried out in 2016, of visiting students outcoming (No. 4, of which No. 2 in traineeship), for which we were awarded for our n. 2 students of 46 CFU (n. 23 each).
