Where do I find books and e-books for my exams?
The Recommended Bibliography service allows you to find out which texts recommended by teachers for the preparation of their academic exams are available in the University libraries for consultation and loan. Information can be retrieved only from monographs from the last three academic years, including the current one.
To use the service, you must follow the steps below:
Where to look: Simply query the UniPa Discovery Service by entering some information, such as author and/or title, to find out the availability of the work and access traditional or digital consultation and lending services.
How to search: You can search for recommended texts (printed books or eBooks) by entering one of the following items in the search box: teaching code or name, teacher's surname, academic year. The simple search through elements such as the title and the author is always valid, the card will contain the information related to the associated teaching.
Traditional and digital loan terms: Loan terms vary depending on user status (in the case of printed books) and the disbursement methods established by each publisher (in the case of ebooks). All details are available at this link.
How to remotely read eBooks and subscription digital assets: Please note that, in the case of subscription digital collections, remote access requires authentication using the methods indicated at the following link.
