Norma maschile e tensioni paritarie nella Grecia antica

Abstract

Generally marked by inferiority, passivity and public invisibility, in Greece women are mostly placed under the sign of difference: often, indeed, subaltern - of whose injustice women may also be aware - but sometimes also radically other (positively other) from the "masculine", and exhibited to make us imagine what no man, as linked to male culture, can represent. Furthermore, various elements of tendential equality or aspiration towards it sometimes emerge, and even in this case in a notable way.
