Abstract
This paper is dedicated to education for participatory democracy in the age of globalisation and asks whether, in a society characterised by pluralism, democracy can be relaunched as an educational principle or whether we should consider a new pedagogy of the common good which, through a radical reform of thinking, gives new meaning to the concept of democracy. The community is therefore proposed as a place where cosmic democracy can be taught, and a world of solidarity and peace is envisaged. Only in this way, by realising the pedagogical project of a planetary democracy in the name of peace, will it be possible to save the future of humanity.
