Abstract
The introduction to The Power of Stories frames gender-based violence as a cultural, educational, and psychological emergency. The authors propose an interdisciplinary approach that weaves together narrative medicine, clinical psychology, gender studies, and phenomenological-hermeneutic pedagogy. Narrative—especially in autobiographical form—is presented as both a formative and therapeutic tool to deconstruct stereotypes, process trauma, and foster awareness. The narrating body thus becomes the core of an education in reciprocity and gender justice, within a vision of the university as a space for care, listening, and cultural transformation.
