Cibo, vino e sesso nei «Carmina Burana» e in altri testi poetici mediolatini

Abstract

Food, wine and sex are elements that, often related to each other, recur several times in Latin poetry of the Late Middle Ages. In this paper, in particular, the presence of these elements within some medieval Latin poetic texts of the eleventh-thirteenth century is highlighted and analyzed, the «Liber proverbiorum» of Godfrey of Winchester, the «Carmina Burana», the «Carmina Cantabrigiensia» and the «Versus Eporedienses».
