Abstract
In this paper, the design process of a sheet-beam low voltage double V-shape meander line slow wave structure is proposed. The proposed structure is capable to work in the frequency range between 17-21 GHz with a maximum gain of 40.6 dB and a peak efficiency of 16.6 % at 19 GHz. Thanks to its small volume of 0.203 cm3, and the low operating voltage of 1.425 V, and a cathodic current of 100 mA the proposed structure is ideal in all those applications where it is necessary to minimize consumption, dimensions and weight.
