Abstract

The paper examines the private hypogea of Lilybaeum-Marsala, highlighting the role of patronage and its models of self-representation. The PRIN DIAPOH project has enabled a significant methodological update through the creation of a georeferenced network, the cataloguing of the burial structures, and the digital survey of painted decorations within a complex funerary landscape, essential for understanding the social, cultural, and visual dynamics of Late Roman Sicily between Rome and North Africa.
