Identità, mappatura e comunità : tre concetti dello sviluppo sostenibile locale

Abstract

The paper wants to question the dialogical relationship and the mutual influences between territorial identities, resident communities, mapping tools and indications of local sustainable development. After a review of part of the literature with reference to the concepts mentioned above, one of the many products of the place-based process was selected: the mapping of communities (MdC) as an emblematic case of self-representative processes of the patrimonial identity value preparatory to local development. It concludes by critically commenting on this triple link between potential and fragility.
