MARIA ANTONIA RANCADORE

Les genres suprêmes dans le "Sophiste" de Platon

Abstract

The central themes of Parmenides of Elea – being is, non-being is not – were reconfigured by Plato in several of his later dialogues. This recovery leads to a way of thinking where movement takes its place as a “highest kind” of being. The precise scope of this reconfiguration remains to be understood in its openness and its scale.
