Abstract

Vestibular disorders encompass a range of conditions affecting the inner ear and brain areas involved in balance, spatial orientation, and eye movement control. These disorders can lead to symptoms such as vertigo, dizziness, balance impairment, and sometimes, tinnitus. Effective diagnosis requires an integrated clinical and imaging-based diagnostic framework. Although no standardized protocols exist, pharmacological treatment aims to alleviate symptoms and improve quality of life. This chapter outlines key pharmacological strategies, focusing on mechanisms and effectiveness.
