Abstract

A significant contemporary example, already implemented, from which it is possible to grasp both the benefits and the difficulties of a city in the form of a civil forest, is that of Paris; a city that is moving rapidly in this direction, implementing real and massive reforestation operations. The policies implemented over the last five years have changed the identity and urban environment, pursuing with great determination the idea that the French capital can be an extraordinary contemporary urban forest.
