Abstract
A research group set up within the Degree Course in Landscape Architecture at the University of Palermo (led by Antonio Motisi, with Emanuela Garofalo, Tommaso La Mantia, Maria Livia Olivetti and Giuseppe Isca), launched in 2024 a project to transform an ancient citrus grove belonging to the Baglio Conte Federico built in the 17th century. It is located on the edge of the A19 motorway. The aim of the work is twofold: to reactivate a transversality in the interrupted landscape and to enhance the forgotten urban open space.
