Abstract
Lichen sclerosus, or scleroatroficus, is a chronic inflammatory disease, mainly affecting skin and genitals, whereas involvement of oral mucosa is extremely rare. It occurs predominantly in women and Caucasians and the average age of onset is the fifth to sixth decade of life.
