Abstract
This volume brings together the contributions of the Public Play Space Symposium, exploring the role of play, gamification, and digital technologies as tools for the co-design and co-creation of public space. Through theoretical reflections, case studies, and design experiments, the proceedings examine participatory practices aimed at fostering more inclusive, interactive, and performative public spaces. The curators propose an integrated reading of the collected contributions, highlighting the potential of playful strategies and game-based devices to support urban regeneration processes, civic learning, and social innovation.
