PASQUALE DE SENA

Corso di diritto internazionale

Abstract

This book stems from the need to reflect on key transformations in the international legal order—particularly its specialization and growing institutionalization—since the mid-20th century. While widely discussed, these dynamics are rarely used as interpretive tools for understanding international law as a whole. This book adopts exactly such a perspective, insofar as it explores fundamental legal issues in light of developments in sectors such as human rights, humanitarian law, environmental law, trade, and investment protection. The analysis revisits traditional topics—sources, subjects, responsibility, and enforcement—by highlighting how they operate within the above evolving legal frameworks.
