European Investigation Order as Instrument for the Fight Against Organised Crime

Abstract

This paper is written in English and is the result of a stay in Utrecht at the Willem Pompe Institute for Criminal Law and Criminology under the guidance of Professor John Vervaele, lecturer in criminal law. This paper deals with the European Investigation Order and is the result of a selection from several reports presented by PhD students during the ECLAN PhD Seminar 2021. This contribution is part of the European project “Best practices for EUROpean COORDination on investigative measures and evidence gathering” with the acronym EUROCOORD (Ref. JUST-2015-JCOO-AG/JUST-2015-JCOO-AG-1-1-723198) (Public Law), funded by the European Union's DG JUSTICE, of which the author was a member.
