Abstract

This article proposes a scientific and human profile of Antonino Grillone, professor of Latin philology at the University of Palermo, who recently passed away. Among his most important studies are the critical editions of the ps. Hyginus’ De metatione castrorum, Dracontius’ Orestis Tragoedia and Iordane’s Getica.
