Abstract
The paper describes the experimental investigations carried out in the DICAM laboratory of the University of Palermo on the laminated glass structural elements of a canopy, to be built in the Uni-versity Campus. The investigations performed on the mechanical connection system between the support elements and the horizontal slab coverage and the tests on the single "L" frames are de-scribed. The paper shows the configuration and the methods of implementation of each test, and the results obtained that validated the analytical models implemented during the structural design of the canopy.
