Developing Policy Recommendations on Rural Commons in Italy. Concept Note

Abstract

This concept note outlines the rationale, structure, and methodology for developing policy briefs within the PRIN 2022 project “Valorising rural commons for a greener and fairer society” (RuComItaly). It explains the decision to differentiate policy recommendations across distinct legal and regional contexts, and presents a co-production process involving researchers, stakeholders and technical partners. The note also clarifies the restructuring of the initial plan for multiple regional policy briefs into a more integrated and analytically coherent set of outputs.
