PROGREDIRE NELL’INTERPRETAZIONE DI P.RYL. III 474: LETTURE DI COLIN H. ROBERTS, DAVID DAUBE E VINCENZO ARANGIO-RUIZ NELL’EPISTOLARIO DI FRANCIS DE ZULUETA

Abstract

The paper explores de Zulueta’s correspondence, stored at the University of Aberdeen, about the interpretation of P.Ryl. III 474. The correspondence published here includes contributions from two eminent jurists, Vincenzo Arangio-Ruiz (1884-1964) and David Daube (1909-1999), to whom de Zulueta had sent his works on P.Ryl. III 474. Their exchanges of letters were further enriched by the voice of the papyrologist Colin Henderson Roberts (1909-1990), who was also able to examine the editorial and interpretative ideas formulated by Arangio-Ruiz and Daube on P.Ryl. III 474.
