Abstract

Focusing on the Maltese context between the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, this study aims to investigate the function played by technical drawings in the building process, with particular regard to the evaluation phase and approval by public offices. The selected case studies will concern interventions without aulic or monumental ambitions, to verify professional practices in the ordinary processes of urban development and growth.
