Project title: Formative assessment: training to improve professional development
Abstract:
The pedagogical competence of educators and teachers is one of the cornerstones of teaching action, since it can constitute, in fact, a spring for the promotion of learning, autonomy and educational success of each child. Numerous studies and research have found that evaluation influences the quality of the teaching/learning process to such an extent that, when it is aimed at improving educational processes, The acquisition of the medical expertise of educators and teachers is a crucial element. This is particularly evident if we move within the framework of an appraiser-centered assessment style, as in the case of the so-called formative assessment which can contribute to the quality of evaluation processes by ensuring procedural correctness and reflexivity. Since its inception in the 1960s and 1970s (Scriven, 1967; Bloom, Madaus, Hastings, 1971; Bloom, 1974), training assessment has changed the course of dosimetry practice, leading to a significant reversal. Far from operating simplistic measurements of the abilities/skills of learners, we have moved to the consolidation of learning through the development of self-regulation, autonomy, reflexivity of pupils, as well as metacognitive competence. To this is added a rearrangement of learning environments where the evaluative action, together with the didactic action, assumes the connotations of communicative interaction that is substance of the training system. Studies and research on early childhood highlight strong critical issues in the implementation of educational assessment processes in early childhood, and the need to promote training to enhance the docimological competence for educators and teachers. The research project aims to increase the docimological skills of primary and preschool teachers through the implementation of a training assessment model.
