|Aesthetica Preprint, 38 (August 1993)
The aim of this book is to offer a selective bibliography of ancient and modern sublime. As regards to ancient sublime, only the titles published after 1956 are quoted, since bibliography until this year is already available in the list edited by D. St. Marin (Leiden 1967). As regards to modern sublime, more attention has been paid to longinian tradition and to contemporary debate on "post-modern" sublime.
The bibliography is set out in five chapters. With the exception of the third chapter, chronologically arranged, the items are in alphabetical order and are progressively numbered to facilitate cross-reference.
