INTERNATIONALIZATION DEMS
The internationalization process of the university's courses and the creation of truly cosmopolitan classes positively affects the quality of courses and classes, meeting the expectations of training of a student class that is diverse in terms of cultures and professional skills. The Department of Political Sciences and International Relations responds to this global need, creating professionals with a solid knowledge of the socio-political and legal dynamics specific to contemporary international reality and capable of fitting within institutions, organizations and private companies operating in international contexts. Through the Erasmus agreements present in the Degree Courses (three-year and master's) of the Department of Political Sciences and International Relations, we intend to promote a virtuous process of growth of UniPa outgoing and incoming students in academic, socio-cultural and linguistic terms. Both UniPa outgoing and incoming students are destined to remain privileged interlocutors and ambassadors of our country and the University of Palermo.

Erasmus+ KA131_Mobility for Individual Study
The Erasmus+ KA131_Mobility for Individual Study Purposes program is for students (including doctoral and postgraduate students) regularly enrolled at the University of Palermo to spend from 3 to 12 months at a European or non-European university with which an appropriate agreement has been signed. It allows students to attend courses, take exams, do part of their dissertation and learn about new higher education systems as well as offering the opportunity to live a cultural experience abroad, improve their knowledge of at least one other language and meet young people from other countries.
Erasmus+ student status guarantees exemption from paying tuition fees at the host institution, the right to enjoy the same services that the foreign university offers its students, and academic recognition for educational activities completed abroad through the transfer of respective credits (ECTS-European Credit Transfer System).
A financial contribution is provided to support expenses related to mobility and living in the host country.
One can participate more than once in the Erasmus+ program as long as the months of mobility (both for Study and Traineeship) do not exceed 12 per Bachelor's or Master's degree program and 24 for single-cycle Master's degree programs.
