Each PhD student has access to the resources provided for by Ministerial Decree 226 (10% of the scholarship amount) to support research activities, primarily intended for national and international mobility (travel and accommodation expenses, participation in conferences and seminars, etc.). For periods of stay abroad, previously approved by the doctoral board, an increase in the scholarship is provided. Additional resources for publications and missions may be made available by the doctoral board or by individual members of the board.
PhD students who wish to use their budget for study and research activities in Italy or abroad must first obtain authorization from their supervisor, the PhD Program Coordinator, and the Departmental RAD, and subsequently report the expenses incurred in accordance with the university’s current regulations.

PhD students are provided with shared fixed workstations equipped with internet connection. Reserved rooms with shared IT equipment (printers, monitors, etc.) are also available to them (Buildings 14 and 8).
