Principal Investigator of the research project FLEXBIT – Flexibility Exploitation for residential, tertiary and industrial buildings, funded by the transnational initiative  “CETPartnership  2023  -  Clean  Energy  Transistion Partnership” (CUP: B78H23016980005).

Scientific Responsible for the Collaboration Agreement with ENEA entitled " Studio di fattibilità di soluzioni per l’efficientamento energetico delle Isole Minori", within the framework of the Project 1.5 " Tecnologie, tecniche e materiali per l’efficienza energetica ed il risparmio di energia negli usi finali elettrici degli edifici nuovi ed esistenti "- (IRIS code: CON-0284; CUP: I34I19005780001) - National Electricity System Research Triennial Plan 2019-2021 (link).

Responsible for the activities "OR6: Integrated energy storage systems in polygenerative hybrid plants", RI8.1 "Definition of demand flexibility and interaction with the energy market" and RI 8. 3 "Definition of dispatching strategies of energy resources in multi-carrier energy hubs for the achievement of technical-economic objectives" of the PON 2014-2020 project "SOLARGID - Thermodynamic and photovoltaic solar systems with storage for network coGeneraRy and flexibility" (IRIS code: 2017-NAZ-0231; CUP: B66C18000310005) (link). 

Member of the research group of the University of Palermo for the project entitled "BLORIN - BLOCKCHAIN PER LA MANAGEMENT DECENTRATA DELLE RINNOVABILI", PO FESR Sicilia 2014/2020 Project - Action 1.1.5 "Sostegno all’avanzamento tecnologico delle imprese attraverso il finanziamento di linee pilota e azioni di validazione precoce dei prodotti e di dimostrazione su larga scala", CUP G79J18000680007 (link). 

Responsible for LA 1.1 "Analysis of applicable regulations and identification of mandatory requirements" and LA 6.2 "Assessment of the effects on the electricity grid" for the project "DEMAND: DistributEd MANagement logics and Devices for electricity savings in active users installations", part of the SYSTEM RESEARCH programme, pursuant to art. 10, paragraph 5, of the Call for Tenders for the selection of System Research Projects, approved by Decree of the Ministry of Economic Development of 30 June 2014.
