MICHELE MANNOIA

Mutamento sociale, dinamiche familiari e pratiche professionali

Abstract

This book analyzes some significant transformations in social and family dynamics in order to understand not only the consequences these changes have had on people's lives, social relationships, and the structure of contemporary families, but also to reveal the deeply social and cultural nature of families. The book was conceived and developed within the framework of training and research activities at the Social Work Laboratory and is intended for scholars, social work professionals, and students. The chapters that make up the volume offer tools to grasp the complexity of social change and provide valuable insights for revisiting certain professional practices and imagining new ones. The authors of the contributions collected here, drawing from their theoretical reflections and the results of their empirical research, question – and invite us to question – various social, family, and professional dynamics with the aim of building frameworks for thinking, evaluating, and acting that enable broader inclusion of the most vulnerable individuals.
