Abstract

The chapter reflects, starting from some empirical data and some news stories, on the numerical consistency of the episodes of intolerance towards immigrants and Roma and on the "quality" of the violence perpetrated against them, demonstrating the groundlessness of the theses they try to dismiss racist incidents as isolated cases.
