Protezione internazionale e donne migranti : verso una nuova prospettiva di genere? Considerazioni su tre decisioni recenti della Corte di Giustizia dell’UE

Abstract

This paper addresses the theme of the protection of migrants’ rights, with particular reference to the condition of migrant women, in an intersectional perspective, which takes into account the particular condition in which women who are also migrants find themselves. This dual condition has been reflected in three recent decisions of the Court of Justice of the EU, which seem to be charting a new path in the protection of individuals seeking international protection, in the case of women and girls. The attention of the European judge was further confirmed in the recent decision of the 1th August 2025, relating to the notion of safe country of origin, in reference to all subjects requesting international protection.
